For Agencies

Link tracking for agencies running multiple clients

Client link tracking is fragmented — a different tool per client, and a spreadsheet holding it together.

Running links across ten clients usually means ten logins, or one account where everything is mixed together and nothing can be shown to a client without redacting it first.

What you actually do with it

One workspace per client

Links, domains, and analytics stay separated by workspace rather than by naming convention. Pro includes 2 workspaces, Growth 3, Teams 10 — with 6 and 15 seats respectively, so the account manager and the person building the links are not sharing a password.

Their domain, not ours

Each client’s links can sit on their own short domain, so what gets shared reads as the client’s brand. A custom domain is included from the free plan up, which is unusual — most tools gate it.

Send the report, not a screenshot

Share a link’s analytics with a client directly instead of exporting screenshots into a slide. They see the clicks, the sources, the countries — and nothing else in your account.

No consent banner on their campaign

Clicks are counted server side. No cookie is set on the visitor, no fingerprint is taken, and the IP is discarded after the country lookup. Your client does not inherit a compliance conversation because of the links you shortened for them.

This page is for you if

  • You manage campaigns for more than one client
  • You report performance back to someone who is paying for it
  • Your clients care whose name is on the link

Common questions

Can I keep clients separated?

Yes, through workspaces. Each workspace has its own links, custom domain, and analytics. Pro includes 2 workspaces, Growth 3, and Teams 10. Growth adds 6 seats and Teams 15, so a team can work in the same account without sharing one login.

Can I white-label TrimLink for my clients?

Not today. You can put every link on a client’s own domain, so the link itself carries their brand rather than ours, and you can share analytics with them directly. But there is no full white-label mode that removes TrimLink from the dashboard, and we would rather say so than let you find out after buying.

Do my clients need accounts to see reports?

No. You share a link’s analytics and they open it — no signup, no seat, and no access to anything else in your workspace.

Does this add a cookie banner to my client’s site?

No. The tracking happens on the redirect, server side, before the visitor reaches the destination. Nothing is written to the visitor’s browser, so shortening a link does not create a consent obligation for your client.
